Tony Reed, M.D., F.A.C.O.G., is a highly experienced board-certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist in practice since 2005. He provides care for patients at The Howard Center, with locations in Covington, Valdosta, Moultrie, Warner Robins, Leesburg, Douglas, Tifton, and Waycross, Georgia.
Dr. Reed was born in Asheville, North Carolina, and currently resides in Tifton, Georgia. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1991. He then attended Western Carolina University, receiving his Bachelor of Science in Clinical Laboratory of Science degree in 1995.
In 1999, Dr. Reed graduated from Sharmon College with his Doctor of Chiropractic degree. He attended medical school at St. Matthew’s University, graduating in 2005. He completed his internship at Greenville Hospital and his residency at East Tennessee State University.
Dr. Reed served as a Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Air Force. He also served in the Georgia Air National Guard as a Flight Surgeon. He is former active duty but still serves in the Georgia Air National Guard.
Dr. Reed holds a great emotional connection to the Obstetrics field. During his and his wife’s first pregnancy, she had several complications and struggled with her health. It was then that he became passionate about being able to save women’s lives and make their pregnancy journey as safe as possible. He loves going to work every day and being able to provide real solutions to his patients.
