Dawn Printup, FNP-BC

Nurse Practitioner


Dawn Printup is a dedicated and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner who brings years of hands-on experience and a deep passion for women’s health to her role at The Howard Center. With a strong foundation in maternity, postpartum, and newborn care, Dawn’s approach is rooted in patient-centered compassion, clinical excellence, and a commitment to empowering women at every stage of life.

Dawn earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University and is board-certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Her clinical background includes working in high-acuity settings such as trauma, orthopedics, and surgical units, as well as providing family-focused care in obstetrics and gynecology. At The Howard Center, she provides comprehensive GYN services including well-woman exams, contraceptive counseling and management, STI screening and treatment, menopause care, and procedures such as IUD insertions and biopsies.

Known for her critical thinking, cultural sensitivity, and personalized care, Dawn ensures every patient feels seen, heard, and supported. She is an active member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing and the Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN).

Whether she’s performing a routine annual exam or guiding a patient through a complex health concern, Dawn’s goal remains the same: to deliver thoughtful, empowering care that promotes lifelong wellness
