Nurse Practitioner
Kara Chestnut, WHNP-BC, is a compassionate women’s health practitioner and an invaluable member of the team at The Howard Center for Women’s Health. Through her partnership with women from Covington, Valdosta, Moultrie, Warner Robins, Leesburg, Douglas, Tifton, and Waycross, Georgia, Kara strives to improve the health and wellness of those in her care.
A lifelong learner, Kara began her education at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She then completed her Master of Science in Nursing in Milledgeville, Georgia. She continues to seek out opportunities to expand her knowledge and skills.
She’s received training in robotic gynecologic surgery, neurology, and vascular surgery. Kara has experience in emergency response as well as advanced care planning.
